BENTLEY HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY - REPORT - (October 2008):

The speaker at our last meeting on the 17^th October was Mr. Matt Tanton-Brown, and his subject was `The Holly and The Ivy`.

On Friday 21^st November we will be holding our AGM. Nominations to serve on the new Committee are therefore welcome at this time, and should be sent to the Chairman before the meeting. Also, the `Annual Photographic Competition` will be judged during the evening – the subject this year is - `Spring in Your Garden`.

BENTLEY HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY - REPORT - (September 2008):

At our September meeting Mr. Parfitt gave us a most interesting talk with slides on `Wild Flowers in Gardens in Britain and Europe` which was enjoyed by the 42 members present.

For our October meeting on Friday 17th at 7.30 pm, we welcome back Mr. Tanton-Brown whose subject will be `The Holly and the Ivy`.
